City & County Healthcare
Building on its successful track record in the social care sector, Graphite led the secondary buy-out of C&C in December 2013. The ‘care at home’ market was attractive as it was large, fragmented and had strong underlying growth drivers. Having reviewed a number opportunities, C&C was considered the most attractive consolidation platform. The investment thesis was to accelerate the existing acquisition programme as well as develop the business organically.
Graphite supported C&C in meeting sector challenges, adding service capabilities, and developing its processes and technology. C&C was able to outperform competitors to become the UK’s ‘number one’ homecare provider, serving both public and private sector clients.
