Graphite Capital wins Value Creation Deal of the Year for Wonderbly

Graphite was delighted to win the Value Creation Deal of the Year award in the Lower Mid-Market at the 2026 Actum Private Equity Value Creation Awards. The award recognised Graphite’s transformation of Wonderbly, the world-leading publisher of premium personalised books, ahead of its sale to Penguin Random House in June 2025. During Graphite’s ownership, Wonderbly more than doubled revenues and EBITDA, largely through organic growth. The business also expanded into adult gifting, completed two strategic acquisitions, achieved B Corp certification, and strengthened its market position through investment in data science and brand.
