Graphite Capital has sold a majority stake in Independence Products Limited (‘IPL’) to Astorg, a pan-European private equity firm.
IPL is a manufacturer and distributor of a focused range of infection prevention products for use outside the hospital setting. Since Graphite’s acquisition of the business in June 2023, IPL has been transformed through investment in systems and technology, manufacturing, and sales and marketing activities, and significantly expanded its patient base including in new therapeutic areas.
The existing management team will continue to lead the company following the transaction. Graphite remains a significant minority shareholder.
