We have invested in a variety of service industries. With our backing from an early stage, a number of recruitment and staffing businesses have grown into substantial players in their markets. In 2000 we backed the start-up of Huntress, a recruitment business, which, having expanded rapidly, was sold in a secondary buy-out in 2007.   We are currently invested in Aktrion, a staffing business, and NES Group, a technical recruitment business.  We also acquired the UK's largest recruitment advertising business, TMP worldwide, from its corporate parent in 2006.  Most recently, we backed the secondary buy-out of Alexander Mann Solutions, a leading recruitment process outsourcing provider.

Graphite Capital has had a longstanding interest in specialist distribution businesses.  We backed Computaceter from an early stage, before floating it in 1998.  We expanded Equanet, another leading IT hardware distributor and service provider, and sold it to DSG.  We are currently growing Micheldever Tyre Services, the UK's largest tyre distributor, organically and through acquisitions.

We are also keen to build on our strong experience in outsourcing and facilities management, where we have backed a number of businesses working with public and private sector clients.
